visited the home of Gods at Dieng Plateau

Dieng Plateau is believed to be the abode of the gods. No wonder, if in this place there is a historic temple complex. Located at an altitude of thousands of feet, Dieng also will make you fall in love with its natural beauty.

This area is located in the village of Dieng, District Kejajar, Wonosobo district, or 26 km north of the City Wonosobo. Not a bit of domestic and foreign traveler who visited this place. There are spread of tea gardens, green scenery, fresh air and the sunrise was charming.

Dieng derived from Sanskrit is "Di" meaning high place and "Hyang," which means place of the gods. You can find a temple complex in the region. The temples are named according to the beliefs and the characters of Mahabharata epic, such as Bima, Gatotkaca, Arjuna and Srikandi. It is estimated, these temples were used by Hindus to worship.
